What are some things that make an outfit look vintage?

I hate looking like everyone else so I’m going for vintage look. I’m just not sure how I can pull it off. I don’t want to pay a lot of money for new clothes so I was wondering what I could do to a regular outfit to make it look vintage?

accesorize with different pieces. maybe grandma’s pearls or that old necklace you forgot about. also try adding little knit sweaters you may have and collaborating different pieces from your wardrobe together. maybe stuff you havent worn in awhile and forgot about and things you would’ve never thought to pair up together could work just dont go too out there you might end up looking a little mix and matched.
