does anyone know about vintage car part group 12001 ? part number 4L8L816 .It is a nos hood for what car?

It appears to be a hood with an center hood ornament at the front center near the front. If I remember I believe this was flexible? Can anyone lead me to a site. I have a part band but the L in numbers could be something else. I have tried pencil rubbing
