I’m looking for a free pc game download site that has vintage games?

The site I’m looking for used to be “free” but due to the volume it costs around $3.00 or $4.00 to download unlimited games. It had a choice of a specific type of download such as shareware etc…
The games I’m looking for are old pc games such as Police Quest, Space Quest, a hospital surgery game (not ER.) Back when games were challenging but the graphics kinda of sucked.
I’ve been to this site before it has a plain white background and blue text. it lists all these games in alphabetical order. Before you get to the list of games it explains the format of downloads e.g. shareware, freeware, etc…. the type of games it lists are from Atari to some of the first PC’s like Tandy and Texas Instruments
