Water Gun

Could you get prosecuted for “assaulting” a policeman with an obvious water gun?

I mean, while you’re using one of those plastic, neon-colored guns, which would make it obvious that’s it’s just a toy. (Not that I want to try it, I just got curious about it.) If so, why would shooting water be considered assault?
Not one of the huge ones, a smaller one.

Yes, you can, because it violates the officers human rights and puts others at risk, cos if he’s busy dealing with you, there could be an emergancy somewhere else.

There is also the fact that as other have said, water-guns have been used as weapons, filled with corrosive liquid and fired into police officers eyes, police officers have been trained to respond to incidents like this with maximum force to prevent injury to themselves and others. So chances are if you did do it, they’d jump you and restrain you straight away, just in case the gun contained acid or something.
