what kind of water toys are fun besides pools?

My daughter wants me to buy a pool this summer. I hate taking care of pools- even wading pools. I have seen the big blow up water slides that you can purchase for your back yard but I am nervous to spend $400 on one and have my kids get sick of it after a week. Does anyone have one of these or know of a fun water toy that kids will continue to like? My kids are 10, 9, and 7 years old.

Walmart carries a line of water sprinklers that can be fun,and put away when tired of until the next time.They have a wiggling water sprinkler and a spiral one also.price?$6.23
plus tax.and $9.97plus tax. Pools are very expensive to maintain,and you have to continously buy chemicals for it.A slide is not a good idea if you have a dog that likes to join in the fun.water guns are fun also for an afternoon of play in the back yard.
