Whistle Toy

Would a dog whistle help in this situation?

We have a 18 month old miniature Daschund who is only allowed to sit on her special mat in our loungeroom. We giver her love and attention but like everyone we cant 24/7. So whenever we are in the house or out and about she constantly whines and even when we ignore her she still does it, or when we stay stop she still does. If we put her outside she starts whinening louder, we take good care of her and provide her with plenty of things to do like toys and treats. She doesn’t do it all the time and she never used to it has just started recently. Do you think that if we used a dog whistle every time she whines that it would stop or deter her from whining? She is a good dog and we love her but it is getting a bit out of hand and annoying. Thank you very much in advance

I doubt it.
Some dogs choose to ignore totally dog whistles.
She sounds like she just want pampering, if no medical prob. is present and she’s healthy.
Try to ignore,.. or you will be an enabler, every time you notice her fussing.
