Zig Zag

Can a dragon fish be with a zig zag or fire eel?

they had them together at walmart and i already have a dragon fish with two cichlids and a pleo in a 55 gallon tank. can i get a zig zag or fire eel?

walmart != fish experts, lol.

if the bichir is really tiny (like mine were when i got them) they will be fine for quite some time in the 55. at some point you will need a bigger tank, but ive had my senegal for over a year and he still isnt very big. no matter what fish you try and house with african cichlids you will probably run into problems when they try and kill the other fish.

if they are south americans or certain electrics they may be ok, but auratus or demasoni they will attack eventually
